This time I want to give a little detail about this wonderful game named
“ETERNAL GRACE”

Actually, I heard about this game for the first time in Kaskus. One of the member who have already played this game said that this game was made by Indonesian people ( Such a good information for me, since I am indonesian people too hehe). I am really shocked at first, and that feeling just made me want to try this game as soon as possible.

Now, when I’ve already finished the demo of the game, I almost do not believe this game was actually made by Indonesian people since it is really good!

Here is the details of the game:

1. Main Plot:
Enthrea, a prosperous planet with seven Pillars to keep the balance of the living things. 100 years ago, some of the people in the planet living with high-technology led by Sarx, and some others live with spiritual power and entangled to the nature led by Enolc, commenced a great war known as Mahakala; the war to decide the manipulator of the pillars. Mahakala caused serious damage to these Pillars. And the damage made those pillars to require a huge amount of energy to stay functional. They started to absorb anything from the outside that made meteors assault Enthrea and annihilated almost half of its population.

The people those wanted to recover Enthrea established an organization called ZNF (Zebadian Nature Fortifier). ZNF succeeded to build a high-technological building to give energy supply for the the pillars, in order to prevent meteors to come into Enthrea. This building is called Harmonizer. The several years of calm made people could build up their environment once more. But now, the meteors start to fall again and causes terror to mankind.

“Great, I’m running out of money…”. Yes, this is what Razh has thought about. It is necessary to have money to survive in Enthrea. Luckily, he got enough money for getting some booze ~He needs it daily, seriously~. But what he has found is not the booze. He encountered the troubled Millia. “Thanks a lot, you saved me…”, said Millia with gratitude. Razh does saved her. It leads with Millia’s trust to make Razh her bodyguard.

Along the journey, they meet their fateful encounters, Renavia, Sieghart, Kara, and Philo, they’re the new companions of the party. Their adventures made them realize that they’re involved in a great conspiration that is more hazardous than any disasters that has occured, and threats that endanger mankind of Enthrea. Razh’s bodyguarding business is not only smell of money, but this is his group’s important journey, to save Enthrea from the ambition of those certain people.

2. Main Characters:

Philo

Kara is good at medium range combat and spreading type of attacks, but her attack power is quite weak.

3. My review of this game:

Gameplay: Quite simple, so it just good for beginner gamer, and also I think this kind of gameplay would not bore the intermediate gamer too! Score: 8/10

Graphic: Quite rough, still need some corrections is some places. Score: 7/10

Soundtrack: This is what I love of this game. I love the battle soundtrack the best of all! It made me want to battle again and again. But I think, this game will need to differentiate between the normal battle soundtrack and the boss soundtrack. Score: 9/10

Story: Quite fun, some romantics scene added. Also a good storyline. Score: 8/10

OVERALL: 8/10

4. Some Screenshots of the game:

Kingdom Hearts II (キングダムハーツII, Kingudamu Hātsu Tsū?) is an action role-playing game developed by Square Enix and published by Buena Vista Games and Square Enix in 2005 for the Sony PlayStation 2 video game console. The game is a sequel to the 2001 Disney Interactive and Square collaboration, Kingdom Hearts, which combined Disney and Square elements into an action role-playing game. The game’s popularity has resulted in a novel and manga series based upon it and an international version called Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix, released in March 2007.

Kingdom Hearts II is the third game in the Kingdom Hearts series. It picks up one year after the events of Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories. Sora, the protagonist of the first two games, returns to search for his lost friends. Like the previous games, Kingdom Hearts II features a large cast of characters from Disney films and Final Fantasy games. Organization XIII, a group introduced in Chain of Memories, also reappears to impede Sora’s progress.

The game was well-received, earning year-end awards from numerous video gaming websites. In Japan, it shipped more than one million copies within a week of its release. One month after its North American release, it had sold over one million copies and was the second best-selling game of 2006. As of December 2006, Kingdom Hearts II had shipped more than 3.5 million copies worldwide.

Game Play

The gameplay of Kingdom Hearts II is similar to that of Kingdom Hearts, though developers made an effort to address complaints with the previous game. The player directly controls Sora from a third person camera angle, though first person perspective is available. Most of the gameplay occurs on interconnected field maps where battles take place. The game is driven by a linear progression from one story event to the next, usually told in the form of a cut scene, though there are numerous side-quests available that provide bonuses to the characters.

Like many traditional role-playing games, Kingdom Hearts II features an experience point system which determines character development. As enemies are defeated, the player gains experience which culminates in a “level up”, in which the playable characters grow stronger and gain access to new abilities. As in the first game, Kingdom Hearts II allows a certain degree of character customization through a short tutorial found at the beginning of the game.

Combat in Kingdom Hearts II is in real-time and involves button presses which initiate attacks by the on-screen character. A role-playing game menu, similar to those found in Final Fantasy games, at the bottom left of the screen provides other combat options such as using magic, summoning beings to assist in battle, or executing combination attacks with other party members. A new feature is the “Reaction Command”, special enemy-specific attacks that are triggered when the player presses the triangle button at the correct time during battle. Reaction Commands can be used to defeat regular enemies or avoid damage, and are sometimes necessary to complete a boss battle. In addition to the main character, two party members are usually present who also participate in combat. Although these characters are computer-controlled, the player is allowed to customize their behavior to a certain extent through the menu screen, such as attacking the same enemy Sora targets.

In response to criticism, the “Gummi Ship” feature of the first game was re-imagined to be “more enjoyable”. Although retaining its basic purpose of travel, the previous system was completely redone to resemble a combination of rail shooter and “Disney theme park ride”. In the world map, the player must now control the Gummi Ship from a top-down view and fly to the world the player wishes to enter. Worlds are no longer open from the beginning—the player must unlock the routes to them by entering a new level, controlling the ship from a third-person point of view, and battling enemy ships. After the route is opened, travel to the world is unimpeded, unless it is blocked again due to a plot related event.

Drive Gauge

Sora in Valor Form, one of the Drive Forms introduced in Kingdom Hearts II

One of the new features is a meter known as the “Drive Gauge”. The Drive Gauge serves two functions: to transform into a “Drive Form” or to summon a special character. While in Drive Form, Sora bonds with party members to become more powerful and acquire different attributes; some Forms also allow the use of two Keyblades. While in a Drive Form, Sora’s combat statistics are heightened. Drive Forms also give Sora new abilities that can be used outside of battle. At first, his Drive Forms only combine power with one party member, but as he gains new ones, he can bond with both party members. When allies are used in a Drive Form, they are temporarily removed from battle for its duration. Unlike hit points and magic, the Drive Gauge is not recharged at save points.

Like the first game, Sora can summon a Disney character to aid him in battle. A summoned character will replace the two computer-controlled characters and fight alongside Sora for as long as the Drive Gauge allows. Instead of being limited to only one action, summoned characters now have a menu of their own and are capable of performing solo actions or cooperative actions with Sora. The summon ability and each Drive Form are leveled up separately and by different criteria. Obtaining higher levels allows for extended use and in the case of Drive Forms, access to new abilities.

The story is an interquel taking place between the first Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts II. The game centers on the daily life of the main character Roxas, exploring the time from his creation during the first game, Kingdom Hearts, and leading directly into Kingdom Hearts II. It features 3D graphics, and single and multiplayer modes of play. The game was announced at the 2007 Tokyo Game Show to be released in Japan; a North American release was later confirmed as well as a European Autumn, 2009 release.Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days had a special edition of the Nintendo DSi when it launched in Japan. The game launched in Japan on May 30, 2009. The game’s official North American release was announced at E3 2009 to be September 29, 2009

Story

When Sora turns himself into a Heartless to free his friend Kairi’s heart in Kingdom Hearts, his Nobody, Roxas, is created; however, unlike most Nobodies, Roxas lacks memories of his past life as Sora. Soon Roxas is found by Xemnas, the leader of Organization XIII, and recruited as its thirteenth member. Each day he is sent to other worlds, either alone or accompanied by his fellow members, to destroy vast quantities of Heartless, releasing stolen hearts and furthering the Organization’s goal to summon Kingdom Hearts and become complete beings. During his time in the Organization, Roxas is placed under the mentorship of Axel, whom he quickly befriends. Shortly after Roxas’s induction, the Organization sees the arrival of a fourteenth member named Xion who, like Roxas, has no recollection of her past and can also wield the Keyblade. Xion grows close to Roxas, and forms a friendly trio with him and Axel.

As DiZ and Naminé watch over Sora while he sleeps to regain the memories he lost at the end of Chain of Memories, Roxas begins to experience the process for himself, growing increasingly curious about why he can wield the Keyblade and doubtful of the Organization’s motives. Xion, meanwhile, is thrown into disarray over the nature of her existence after an encounter with Riku, discovering that she is an imperfect replica of Sora created by Xemnas from Sora’s memories in the event that Sora turned out to be useless to the Organization’s plans; in addition, Naminé’s attempts to restore Sora’s memories not only affect Roxas, but also Xion to the extent that she physically resembles Sora. Torn between staying with her friends and merging with her original self as per Riku’s advice, Xion eventually decides to make the right decision and attempts to escape from the Organization. However, this causes a rift between her and Axel, who is ordered to track her down every time she escapes. Finally, Roxas grows frustrated with his unanswered questions and defects from Organization XIII, leaving Axel dejected.

At Twilight Town, Roxas encounters Xion, who has been reprogrammed by Xemnas to fulfill her original purpose of absorbing Roxas and becoming the “real” Sora. After a grueling battle, Roxas defeats Xion, who tells him not to let Xemnas have his way before merging with Roxas and Sora. Compelled by his newfound power and resolve, Roxas encounters and battles Riku, who has been dispatched by DiZ to capture him. When Riku is nearly defeated, he taps into the growing darkness in his heart, granting him the power necessary to subdue Roxas, but also giving him the appearance of Ansem, who resides in his heart. Riku subsequently brings Roxas to DiZ, who inserts Roxas into a virtual simulation of Twilight Town so that he may eventually merge with Sora and complete the restoration of his memories, setting the stage for Kingdom Hearts II.

Star Ocean: The Last Hope is the fourth installment in the Square Enix/Tri-Ace RPG series to be released outside of Japan, and is the fifth game in the series.

Overview
Star Ocean: The Last Hope is the latest installment in the Square Enix Role-playing Game series, which is exclusive to the Xbox 360. Unlike the last game, Star Ocean: Til the End of Time, this one will feature up to four characters on screen during the battle mode and also be more team-oriented. In this installment you play as hero Edge Maverick along with heroine Reimei Saionji. Star Ocean: The Last Hope will also feature more of a sci-fi emphasis than past titles with the ability to control your own ship, which is rumored to be a large scale and the player can travel to at least 5 planets.

Story
“AD 2064. Humanity made its third and most costly mistake. World War III. Weapons of mass destruction deployed with impunity, razed the land in the blink of an eye. People believed it’s the end of the world. The planet Earth was dying. So humanity began to search for a new home in space.”

“AD 2074 first contact. SD0001 first warp. SD0010 — first official SRF mission. The first official SRF mission ventures forth into the great Star Ocean.”

A quote from the Star Ocean: The Last Hope E308 trailer.

The game follows Edge Maverick and his strange group of friends he makes on other planets, along with his childhood friend and romantic interest Reimi Saionji. The group becomes entangled in a struggle for the survival of humanity against an artificial agent of violent evolution that corrupts all life it comes in contact with. The game focuses heavily on character development and interpersonal relationships, fleshing out character personalities as the story progresses.

Characters

Edge Maverick
A young, upstart member of the SRF, he is dedicated to his mission and trying to overcome his longtime friend Crowe. He fights using a sword and physically based special attacks.

Reimi Saionji
The female lead of the game, Reimi fights using a bow and arrows. She is timid and unsure of her abilities, but is willing to follow Edge to the end of the universe.

Faize
A young man that Reimi and Edge meet on their first mission, he is of an alien race that was previously unknown the general population of earth. He fights using a rapier and magic.

Lymle
A young girl who adds “‘kay” to the end of every sentence and enjoys giving nicknames to other members of the party. She fights using an axe and summoning magic.

Bacchus
An enormous, hulking, robotic man that traded his organic body for the body of a cyborg. He is levelheaded and objective. He fights using lasers and missiles.

Meracle
A small cat-girl, meracle says meow after many sentences, and is very peppy and upbeat. She fights using her claws and physical, acrobatic attacks.

Sarah
A featherfolk girl, she has a high pitched voice and the wings of an angel. She cannot fly however, one of the few of her people that cannot. She fights using a staff and can use powerful healing magic.

Myuria
A voluptuous woman who at first attempts to kill Crowe, but later grows to forgive him. She joins the party to get closer to Crowe. She fights with a staff and magic.

Arumat
A war-hardened and cynical man who is slowly dying of a degenerative disease, he has chosen to live out his last days as a warrior. He fights using a laser scythe.

Gameplay
This installment will include the real-time based battle system like in the other Star Ocean titles with a newly added Rush Gauge. The Rush Gauge can be used to activate astounding special moves and deadly combos. Another new feature to the battle system is the ability to jump, this can add to aerial combinations and create more depth to the fast-paced battle system. The player is given the ability to dash short distances on the field screen, allowing the player to rush past enemies, making it possible to avoid a battle. The game will feature a separate battle screen but will not have random battles. You will be able to see the enemy before the battle activates.

Battle System
Star Ocean: The Last Hope follows in the footsteps of its predecessors and has a primarily real-time combat system. The character controlled on the battle field may also be changed by will of the player. The character initiates a battle by touching an enemy in the field screen and different situations occur depending on the area of contact. If the player manages to initiate the battle by touching the enemy from behind, the battle will begin with a Player Advantage and the enemies will be stunned for a shot period of time. However, if the enemy ambushes the player by initiating the battle by attacking the player from behind, the battle starts with an Enemy Advantage and all the enemies will have their Rush Gauge half filled at the start. A new battle mechanic is also introduced in this installment named Blindsides. If the player controlled character holds down the charge button and initiates a dodge right before an enemy attack, they will perform the deadly blindside maneuver. Blindsides automatically move the player behind the enemy and a 100% critical hit chance rate for the next few attacks.

Bonus Board
When certain requirements are met in battle, tiles are awarded to the player’s bonus board. Different colored tiles correlate to a different bonuses awarded at the end of battle:

* Blue Tile – Awarded when a player defeats an enemy with a critical hit. Awards the player with 10% extra experience.
* Yellow Tile – Awarded when a player defeats multiple enemies at once. Awards the player with 10% fol.
* Green Tile – Awarded when a player is ambushed. Awards the player with extra 1 party SP.
* Pink Tile – Awarded when a player defeats an enemy only using skills. Awards the player with 1% HP and MP recovery.

Bonus board tiles stack so it is player advantageous to collect as many tiles as possible. It is possible to lose tiles, however, if the player controlled character dies or the character receives a critical hit.
