Today’s update introduces the Hymma, which are key to gaining access to powerful song magic. Hymma are manifestations of the heroines’ thoughts. They can be obtained during events in dive mode. Each spirit is assigned a Syncro Level from 1 to 4. Pairing a level 4 Hymma with a heroine will result in more powerful song magic. The problem is that the higher the level, the more difficult it is to make the heroine and the Hymma work together. Fortunately, the developers have come up with the following brilliant solution: To make the combination work, the heroine has to take off her clothes, since they are said to disturb the Hymma. Unfortunately, the girls need to be persuaded to undress. To get your way, you can “bribe” them by offering them items they might like. -RPGfan.com

Luca trulyworth, one of the reyvateil heroine in ar tonelico 2, must be have A japanese Voice Actress and English Voice actress ( + Hymnos singer, haruka shimotsuki in this case)

What’s something special here?

Luca’s japanese voice actress: Ami koshimizu, is also yukiko’s japanese voice actress in Persona 4! >

So don’t be surprised when you feel that Luca’s voice and Yukiko’s voice is a bit same…

Not only that, Luca’s English voice actress: Laura Bailey, is actually rise kujikawa’s English Voice actress in persona 4!

So do you think it is just a coincidence?

2 satellites: the Cello moon and the Viola moon
Divided to 3 regions: Sol ciel ( ar tonelico 1), Metafalls ( Ar tonelico 2), Sol cluster( Ar tonelico 3)

History:It is said that the three Ar tonelico Towers still exist over this land because the Will of the Planet (also known of the Will of Ar Ciel) forgave their existance; and that the planet itself chose to make itself unhabitable because the Grathnode Inferia destroyed its Heart of the Land. However, all of this is speculative information theorized by Infel, and thus, it has not been confirmed even in the current times.

All are female, because the Y chromosome that males possesses suppresses the Reyvateil powers, and thus, precludes them from drawing power from any of the Song Servers.

By singing Songs, they can draw huge amounts of power directly from the Tower (they can use Song magic).

They can boost their magic by absorbing Grathnode Crystals into their bodies through a process called Install.

They can directly control the tower (only the ones with Hymn Codes)

Unless they have undergone through some kind of training, they do not have any physical qualities and are very weak, needing partners to protect them.

Almost all kinds can craft the Songs from their own feelings and experiences.

Almost all kinds have a Cosmosphere, in which their partners Dive to help them with the crafting of their Songs (except Reyvateil Origin)

What is Hymnos language?

Hymnos language is a language which was created by Akira Tsuchiya For Ar tonelico sequel games which is released by Namco Bandai corporation and has already released until Ar tonelico 3. Hymnos can be only used by reyvateil ( Person who can use song to transfer her emotion and then release some kind of energy/ magic). from its history, it is known that this language was used as former language. But in a modern life, it is only used by reyvateil to release the energy of songs by emulting her emotions.

Origins: Hymmnos is derived from a language used by the Tsukikanade (Moon Chanters), an ancient line of shamans who invoked magic through spell casting. Only two dialects from that language have survived to this day: Cult Ciel, which is still in use even though most of it has been forgotten; and Risshizentsukuyomi, which has very few speakers and grammatical rules that are still unknown to us.
Some time after the first tower of Ar tonelico was built, the people in charge of that project took the language of the Tsukikanade and optimized it for use with controlling the Tower and its communications. ( credit to: wikia.com)

1. World Information – An introduction to the 3rd installment of the Ar Tonelico series, a background of the 3rd tower and the world, and also a background to Aoto’s hometown

* Ar Tonelico 3’s world – Sol Cluster is pretty much dominated by β-class Reyvatail which are the ruling class. They reside in the country of Clustania. The ideal world to them consists only of Reyvateils and purified humans. Purified humans are inferior to the Reyvatails. The rest of the humanity stays in the land of 大牙 (Great Fang)?. It is a pretty dark world as compared to the previous Ar Tonelico series imo.

* Something about the β-class Reyvatails was unveiled too, which they have some kind of organization ?

2. Character information – Aoto (CV: Sugiyama Noriaki) , Saki (CV: Goto Mai) and Finnel (CV: Kitamura Eri) ’s information unveiled

* Saki is a Reyvateil born in a research lab, her purpose in this world is to create a impact or influence to the world. She had escaped before the plan for her was being executed. After several years, she met Aoto. Upon reaching the state of extreme emotional tension, she can execute a power known as Kiseki (Miracle)

* Finnel is born in Clusternia, the country of Reyvateils, she is a clumsy girl who works in Yokkora, a restaurant established on the Eternal Road. She seems to have a significant connection to the very existence of Clusternia.She is a β-class reyvatail.

* Aoto is the main male lead in this game, showing a dislike towards Clusternia. A strong responsibility to finish anything he started but he does not think about consequences when he act. His dislike of Clusternia turns into hate when he finds about Saki’s history. Aoto’s hometown is in Great Fang which is battered by the elements of the world, a strong contrast to the Clusternia.

4. Binding abilities to your elements? This is a main element in your battle gameplay that contributes to the R.A.H system, by combining several hymnos of different elements, you can create a devastating effect. Battle BGM will change accordingly to the style. Each reyvatail will have their own psyche for the hymnos, merging this RAH system and player’s actions, the real-time BGM changes, which the Active Music Generation System accomplishes, brings a presence never experienced before

5. Diving and item mixture’s core gameplay remains almost same with new features.

* A new feature has been added to the Dive shop which relates to R.A.H as well, each Reyvatail will have an alternate personality that once unlocked, will allow the reyvatail to change into the “other person” including appearance and abilities. (hmm Finnel to Cocona?! nah!).
